Railway employees have been an integral part of building Canada. The dedication that many displayed over the last 100-plus years has helped make Canada what it is today. We want to recognize those who committed their time and effort to the railway industry. You can nominate your dad, mom, grandmother, grandfather, or even your mother-in-law.
The winner will be awarded annually with a plaque honoring their selection, which will be on display in the newly refurbished Railway Learning and History Centre Car. The inductees, along with the person nominating them, will be awarded TWO tickets to a supper show and a ride on the Wheatland Express.
There are 4 categories for nomation:
Operations: Train Crews, Dispatchers, Trainmasters, Yardmasters, Superintendents
Maintenance: Track Maintenance, Car Repair Maintenance, Signal Maintenance
Builder: Person involved in Non-Operating Activities
Historical: Person that participates in any Railway Activities that no longer exisits
Open to all railway employess past and present.
