• East Wake Magnet High School Mid-Year Graduation Application 2025 - 2026

  • Students who wish to graduate mid-year must submit an application requesting permission. Your administrator and counselor will review the application and transcript and notify students of the decision. Please read the description and conditions upon acceptance carefully.

  • (January) Mid-Year Graduation (after seven or nine semesters):

    • Seniors who wish to graduate after first semester of their senior year should consult with their counselor regarding graduation requirements prior to the beginning of their seventh or ninth semester.
    • Mid-year graduates WILL NOT be permitted to participate in Spring semester activities and the June graduation ceremony.
    • We give permission for the school staff to make any necessary changes to the schedule to honor our request.
  • Student and Parent/Guardian Request: Our signature certifies that we believe this request is in the best interest of the student and we will abide by the following conditions and stipulations:

    • After graduation, the student will not participate in any extracurricular activities, including athletics, school dances, the prom, plays, clubs, senior activities, etc.
    • After graduation, the student will not be able to access any of the benefits available to students who are enrolled including bus transportation, lunch program, special education and other related services.
    • After graduation, the student will not be allowed on campus unless registered as a visitor under the conditions applied to visitors.
