New Volunteer of the Year Award Nomination Form
Purpose
- To openly honor an emerging volunteer in the American Massage Therapy Association
- To acknowledge and promote achievement(s) deserving of said recognition
History
- Award established in 2022
- Award is selected and is not announced publically until time of presentation
- Chapters may award a chapter-level winner, who is the ensuing chapter nominee
- There may be more than one (1) recipient in a given year
- Recipient names will be kept on the award recipient archive page on the AMTA National website
Qualifications
- Recipient is an active AMTA member for at least two (2) years in good standing
- Recipient must have volunteered with the chapter in an elected or appointed position (board member, committee member, etc.) for at least one year but no more than three years
- Each chapter may only nominate one volunteer each year
- Recipient(s) shall not have received this award in the previous year
- Recommended by the Awards Committee
- Approved by the Executive Committee and/or National Board of Directors
