Applicant Statement
I authorize Anders Lawn & Landscape, dba Anders Companies, to make such investigations and inquiries into my employment, references, education, financial or medical history and other related matters as may be necessary in arriving at an employment decision. I hereby release employers, schools, health care providers, and other persons from all liability in responding to inquiries and releasing information in connections with my application.
If this application leads to employment, I understand that false or misleading information in my application or interview may result in my release. I understand, also, that I am required to abide by all the rules and regulations of Anders Lawn & Landscape, dba Anders Companies. I also understand that if this application leads to offered employment, the offer may be contingent on my passing a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening and physical. By signing, I agree to submit to an alcohol and drug screening and physical and that failure to pass will result in voluntary resignation of the employment offer.
I understand that nothing in this application or any conversation conveyed to be during any interview is intended as an employment contract between Anders Lawn & Landscape, dba Anders Companies, and me. I understand that if offered employment, and accept employment, that the employment relationship is voluntary and at our mutual will. I understand my employment is for no definite period and may be terminated at any time, with or without prior notice, with or without cause or reason, at the option of either myself of Anders Lawn & Landscape, dba Anders Companies, and that no promises or representation contrary to the forgoing are binding on the company unless made in writing and signed jointly by the President and myself.
I understand that any future changes in my job title, duties, compensation, working conditions, and/or company benefits, policies, and procedures will not alter our at-will agreement.
I understand I will be required to submit proof of my identity and legal right to work in the United States by my first day of employment, if offered employment.
If the position applied for requires a driver’s license, I understand that I will be required to possess a current and valid state driver’s license and understand that I will be required to provide a copy of my official driving record and proof of insurance. I also understand that my employment offer is contingent on my ability to be covered by Anders Lawn & Landscape, dba Anders Companies, auto insurance, if required by position.
I certify that my answers are true and complete to the best of my knowledge and that I have not knowingly withheld any information that might adversely affect my chances for employment and that the answers given by me are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I further certify that I, the undersigned applicant, have personally completed this application. I understand that any omission or misstatement on this application or on any documents used to secure employment shall by grounds for rejection of this application or for immediate discharge if I am employed, regardless of the time elapsed before discovery.
