    The Accelerate Fellowship is a four-month rewriting sprint that gives disabled film and television writers $30,000 in funding and bespoke mentorship to develop their next spec script. Through writers groups, one-on-one mentorship, guidance from the Inevitable Foundation staff and access to leading film and television writers, the program offers disabled writers everything they need to bring their spec script to the next level.

    We want to clarify the details of the Fellowship, so you can be sure you can get the most out of the program and you have capacity for it. The typical week during the Fellowship year includes:

    • A 45-minute check-in with the Inevitable team every 3 weeks
    • Regular Writers Therapy sessions with expert screenwriters and producers who share their stories and then answer your questions
    • For 1 hour every other week Fellows workshop their latest writing and pitches in a writers group, which is made up of their cohort of Fellows and Inevitable Foundation staff
    • Regular ad-hoc meetings with mentors
