  • The 2024-2025 La Campana STEM & Business Scholarship Application

    The La Campana employee resource group (ERG) scholarship is an achievement-based award that recognizes well-rounded graduating high school students who have demonstrated academic excellence, service to the Hispanic community, and provided commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  •  Applicants shall meet ALL of the following requirements:

    • Be a graduating high school senior pursing a STEM or Business field of study.
    • Students of Hispanic descent (Preferred)
    • First-Generation College Student (Optional)
    • Attend a high school in Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Collin, Rockwall, Kaufman, Ellis, Johnson, Parker and Wise counties.
    • A dependent of Bell Textron Inc. employee (Optional)
    • A dependent of a La Campana ERG employee associate. (Optional) 

    Scholarship Selection details: 

    • Applications that are incomplete will automatically disqualify the student in the selection process.
    • Once all applications have been received, the scholarship committee will begin the review the application. Each application is scored according to their academic performance, involvement in volunteer activities, leadership roles, work experience, quality of their essay or video, and letter of recommendations.
    • Scholarship award finalists will be notified in May 1.  Award winners will be requested to complete a scholarship acceptance form after the official selection is made.
    • Scholarship recipients will be invited to attend a scholarship acceptance event or meeting. 

  • Award Details

  • The Bell La Campana Employee Resource Group (ERG) seeks to empower the Hispanic community to attain careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or Business. This scholarship opportunity is for graduating high school students pursuing university degrees in STEM or Business fields to enable students to succeed in their journey to becoming the next generation of technical professionals and leaders.

    This is the first annual Bell La Campana ERG Scholarship program and La Campana is seeking to award two (2) $1,000 scholarships. We highly encourage you to apply and look forward to distributing scholarships to help fulfill our mission to promote and support STEM initiatives. Application submission deadline is Wednesday, March 30 (11:59pm Central Standard Time). No exceptions will be made.
