• Owner's Scholarship Application

    Thank you for your interest in attending a DBIA-hosted conference event. With design-build approaching half of all construction spending, we applaud you for your interest and look forward to reviewing your request for an Owner Scholarship to offset registration costs. At DBIA, we believe Owners drive successful design-build, and attendance at DBIA events is a great way to learn and network to ensure that your next project not only meets and/or exceeds your cost, schedule and quality goals, but that you and the community-at-large benefit from design-build’s triple-bottom line success.
  • Before beginning your application, please note the following:

    • Scholarships only cover the cost of registration, not airfare or hotel accommodations.
    • Scholarship recipients are required to arrive to the conference in time to participate in the Owners Only Forum.
    • Scholarship recipients are required to complete a short survey after the conference to provide DBIA with important information to continue to serve Owner needs.
    • Owners are responsible for the cost of any pre-conference and/or social events in which they’d like to participate. 
    • Scholarships are non-transferrable. Each individual must submit their own application.
    • Limit 3 scholarships per agency.
    • If you have 10 or more perspective attendees from your agency wanting to attend, please email registration@dbia.org for information about our Group Rates.
    • Deadline to submit your application is 10 days before the first day of the conference (Friday, October 25th at 5PM EST).
    • Please allow up to 5 days for your application to be processed.
