• Owner's Scholarship Application

    Thank you for your interest in attending a DBIA-hosted conference event. With design-build approaching half of all construction spending, we applaud you for your interest and look forward to reviewing your request for an Owner Scholarship to offset registration costs. At DBIA, we believe Owners drive successful design-build, and attendance at DBIA events is a great way to learn and network to ensure that your next project not only meets and/or exceeds your cost, schedule and quality goals, but that you and the community-at-large benefit from design-build’s triple-bottom line success.

  • This year DBIA is pleased to offer an enhanced Owner Scholarship Program designed to support public and private sector Owner participation and increase access to valuable industry education, networking and best practices.

    Approved scholarship recipients will receive a complimentary full conference registration, providing access to conference education sessions, keynote presentations, networking events and the Exhibit Hall.

    In addition, a limited travel stipend of up to $500 per recipient may be available to help offset eligible travel expenses associated with attending the event. Travel stipends are limited, subject to availability and awarded on a first-come, firstserved
    basis.

    Before beginning your application, please note the following:

    • Scholarship recipients are required to arrive to the conference in time to participate in the Owners Only Forum.
    • Scholarship recipients are required to complete a short survey after the conference to provide DBIA with important information to continue to serve Owner needs.
    • Owners are responsible for the cost of any pre-conference and/or social events in which they’d like to participate. 
    • Scholarships are non-transferrable. Each individual must submit their own application.
    • Limit 3 scholarships per agency.

    • Deadline to submit your application is 10 days before the first day of the conference
      • 2026 Annual Conference & Expo Deadline: Friday, October 30th 2026 at 8PM EST
