    Judging Period: Throughout May 2025
    Awards Ceremony: Wednesday, 18 June 2025, during National Volunteer Week

     

    Important Information for Nominators

    Before submitting your nomination, please keep the following in mind:

    • Each award category has its own separate nomination form – please double-check that you are filling out the correct one.
    • Provide as much detailed and relevant information as possible—judges can only assess nominations based on what is submitted.
    • Where possible, examples should be from the last 12 months, unless nominating for the Long Service Award.
    • The individual or team being nominated must be actively volunteering within the Waikato district.
    • Ensure all contact details are included—nominations missing key information may not be accepted.

  • Young people are the future of the Waikato – and they bring so much to our communities. This award celebrates someone aged 24 or under who has shown a genuine commitment to volunteering. Whether they've given their time, shared innovative ideas, or used their skills to make a difference, this award is all about recognising their impact and the passion they bring to helping others.
