  • The Leap ‘N Learn Teacher of the Year Award recognizes excellence in early childhood dance education. It acknowledges a teacher who delivers exceptional Leap 'N Learn classes, embodies the values of their studio, and brings a unique perspective or approach to their teaching.

    Leap ‘N Learn values professional, powerful, and playful educational experiences. The Teacher of the Year utilizes their expertise and energy to create exciting, engaging and accessible dance classes for young children.

    The Teacher of the Year:

    • consistently delivers high quality early childhood dance classes
    • applies theoretical knowledge to classroom contexts
    • delivers age-appropriate, safer dance classes with consideration for the
    • developmental needs of individual students
    • maximizes Leap 'N Learn methods to provide playful and progressive learning experiences
    • fosters connection within a nurturing environment to positively impact students and the studio
    • effectively engages with students, families, colleagues and the wider studio community
    • demonstrates an ongoing commitment to learning
    • inspires, motivates, and leads others to improve and achieve
    • embodies studio values and contributes to company culture
