  • TERMS & CONDITIONS
    1. ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION
    1.1 The exhibition is open to professional and emerging artists, including painters, sculptors, digital artists, and
    photographers.
    1.2 All submitted artworks must be original and created solely by the participating artist. Reproductions, copied works, or
    AI-generated artworks will not be accepted.
    1.3 The gallery reserves the right to select artworks that align with the exhibition's theme, quality standards, and
    curatorial vision.
    2. BOOKING, PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY
    2.1 Application & Selection
    2.1.1 Artists must submit a completed application form along with high-resolution images of their artworks.
    2.1.2 The selection committee will carefully review submissions, and its decision will be final.
    2.2 Payment & Refund
    2.2.1 A non-refundable participation fee must be paid upon selection to confirm participation.
    2.2.2 Payment must be made via Cash/Cheque in favor of Merakii Art House. PI and NEFT are also accepted.
    2.2.3 The gallery reserves the right to cancel a booking if full payment is not received within the stipulated timeframe.
    2.2.4 No refund will be processed under any circumstances before or after the show, including artist withdrawal,
    no-shows, or unsold artworks.
    3. DISPLAY & EXHIBITION REGULATIONS
    3.1 The final arrangement and display of artworks will be at the gallery's discretion to ensure the best overall aesthetic
    appeal and visitor experience.
    3.2 No requests for repositioning, shifting, or altering the display will be entertained once the setup is finalized.
    3.3 Artists must ensure that their artworks are properly framed or in a display-ready format as per gallery guidelines.
    3.4 In rare cases, if an artwork does not fit the exhibition's final layout, the gallery reserves the right to exclude it from
    display.
    3.5 No additional branding, painting, or modification of the exhibition space is allowed without prior approval.
    4. EXHIBITION SCHEDULE
    4.1 Artists are responsible for delivering their artworks to the gallery on the specified date and time to ensure a smooth
    setup.
    4.2 If an artist fails to occupy their assigned space by 11:00 AM on the opening day, the gallery reserves the right to
    reallocate it without a refund.
    4.3 The artist is responsible for collecting unsold artworks within the given timeframe after the exhibition.
    4.4 In cases where artworks remain uncollected beyond 30 days, the gallery reserves the right to dispose of them as
    necessary or charge a storage fee.
    5. EXHIBITION FEES & SALES
    5.1 The participation fee covers exhibition space, basic lighting, and promotional activities but does not guarantee sales.
    5.2 The gallery will facilitate sales and retain a commission of 5% on each sale.
    5.3 All transactions will be managed by the gallery; direct sales by the artist within the exhibition space are not
    permitted.
    5.4 Payments for sold artworks will be processed within 30 days after the exhibition concludes.
    5.5 While every effort will be made to attract buyers, the gallery cannot guarantee sales of artworks.
    6. PUBLICITY & PROMOTION
    6.1 The gallery will promote the exhibition through its website, social media, and press releases, which are subject to
    availability at times.
    6.2 By participating, artists grant the gallery permission to use images of their artworks for promotional purposes.
    7. LIABILITY & INSURANCE
    7.1 While the gallery will take all precautions to safeguard artworks, it is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage
    during the exhibition.
    7.2 Artists are encouraged to arrange independent insurance for their artworks if required.
    8. CODE OF CONDUCT
    8.1 Artists are expected to maintain a professional and respectful attitude towards gallery staff, fellow exhibitors, and
    visitors.
    8.2 Soliciting buyers directly or interfering with the gallery's sales process is strictly prohibited.
    8.3 Once installed, artworks cannot be moved or adjusted by the artist. The gallery team will ensure the best possible
    display arrangement.
    8.4 The gallery reserves the right to remove any artist who violates these terms or engages in unprofessional behavior.
    8.5 Artists who do not comply with these guidelines may not be considered for future exhibitions.
    9. MODIFICATION IN DISPLAY
    9.1 The gallery reserves the right to modify the display of artworks if necessary, ensuring the best layout for the
    exhibition.
    9.2 Any changes will be made at the gallery's discretion, and artists will be informed accordingly.
    10. CANCELLATION POLICY
    10.1 The gallery reserves the right to cancel any booking without prior notice in case of unforeseen circumstances.
    10.2 In the event of cancellation by the gallery, fees may be refunded or adjusted toward a future exhibition.
    10.3 Artists withdrawing from the exhibition for any reason will not be eligible for a refund of participation fees.
    By participating in the exhibition, artists acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these
    terms and conditions.________________
