  • Third Option Accountability Group

    To legally homeschool under option 3 in South Carolina, you must be a current member of a legal third option accountability group. Ignite Homeschool Co-op is not an accountability group and cannot satisfy this requirement. If you would like to learn more about legally homeschooling in South Carolina, please contact the SC Department of Education.
  • Financial Information

  • Registration Fees:

    These fees are due at the time of registration and are non-refundable. (Exception will be made for high school students only if all of the classes they select are cancelled due to lack of enrollement.)
    • Student Registration Fee (per student): $150
    • Supply/Lab Fees: These fees vary depending on the class.  Current fees can be found in the Ignite Family Handbook.
    • Volunteer Buy-out Fee (if applicable): $70 per day
    • Payment Plan Fee (if applicable): $25
    • Nursery Fee (if applicable): $25

     

  • 2025-2026 Tuition Fees

    Tuition payments are due at the time of registration unless selecting the payment plan option. Please see the Payment Plan Option section for more information.
  • Tuition payments are refundable up until July 1, 2025.  After July 1st, you will be unable to withdraw from the class and will be responsible for the full tuition amount.

     

    • Elementary Program: $1500
    • Middle School Program: $1700
    • High School Program (per corecourse): $450
    • High School Elective Course: $225
  • Payment Plan Option:

  • Tuition will be divided into 5 equal payments. The remaining payments will be divided into 5 equal payments and due the first of every month beginning August 1st.

    There is a one time $25 fee for payment plans.  This is due at the time of registration.  Payments will be due on the 1st of every month.  There is a 10 day grace period.  After this time, there will be a $20 late fee added to your account for each month payment is not received.  If you miss 2 consceutive payments, you will no longer be eligible for payment plans for future enrollment.

  • Accepted Methods of Payment:

    We accept cash, check and electronic bank transfer payments. There is 3% convenience charge added to all credit card transactions.
  • Volunteer Requirements

    Every family is required to volunteer 6 full days during the co-op year.
  • Volunteer Sign-Up:

    This year we will be utilizing Signup.com to schedule volunteers.  You will have the option to select the 6 volunteer days that work best for your schedule.

    Your registration will not be finalized until you have signed up for volunteer days and/or paid the buy out fee in leiu of serving.  

    Nursery Usage:

    Volunteers are welcome to keep children 6 and under in the nursery while they are volunteering.  There is a one time fee of $25 per child due at the time of registration to utilize the nursery while you are serving.

    We are unable to make accomodations for children over the age of 6 in the nursery.  If you are unable to make other arrangements, please reach out to the leadership team to discuss possible arrangements.  

  • Volunteer Buy-out:

    Although we encourage families to volunteer as much as they can to get the most out of their co-op experience, we understand that this is not an option for all families. Volunteer buy-outs are available to returning families.  We ask that new families serve all 6 days so that they can become familiar with Ignite.   If you are a new family and need to discuss buying out volunteer days, you will need to contact Beth Bartlett directly. 

    If you need to buy-out your volunteer committment, you may do so at the time of registration.  There is a $70 fee per day.  ($420 for all 6 days) There is limited buy-out days available and are available on a first come, first serve basis only.

    By submitting this application, I hereby acknowledge reciept of the Ignite Homeschool Coop Family Handbook 2025-2026.  I understand that it is my and my student's continuing responsibility to read and comply with the policies contained in this handbook.

    The family handbook describes important information about Ignite Homeschool Co-op, and I understand that I should consult the Leadership Team regarding any questions not answered in the handbook.  This manual and the policies and procedures contained within supersede any and all prior practices, oral or written regarding the terms and conditions of Ignite Homeschool Coop.

    I understand that any and all policies and practices may be changed at any time by Ignite Homeschool Coop.  All such changes will be communicated through official notices and I understand that revised information may supersede, modify, or eliminate existing policies.

    I have read, understand all of the above.  I have also read and understand the Ignite Homeschool Co-op Family Handbook and my family's responsibility to adhere to the information therein.
