WMPC Scholarship Application

James K. Dorsett, Jr. & Anna Lee Dorsett Scholarship (est. 2003, rev. 2024): provides one scholarship each year. Criteria shall include leadership in youth ministry of the church and academic achievement. Financial need may also be considered in determining the award. Priority is given to applicants who will attend a four-year college or university in the state of NC or an institution related by covenant to the Presbyterian Church (USA).

B.T. Henderson Scholarship (est. 2008): provides one scholarship to a member of White Memorial who is enrolled at a college or university as an undergraduate. Criteria includes church involvement, Christian commitment, and demonstrated financial need.

Kelly Lynn Scholarship (est. 1998): provides one scholarship to a student who is a member of White Memorial Presbyterian Church, is accepted to attend or is currently a student at UNC-Chapel Hill and has a demonstrated need for assistance.

WMPC Scholarship Endowment - Reginald H. and Julia R. Allred: The WMPC Scholarship Endowment provides scholarships for WMPC members pursuing higher education at a college or university as an undergraduate. Criteria includes church involvement and Christian commitment. Financial need may also be considered in determining the award.
