Diageo Learning Skills for Life (LSFL) at the Breedlove Entrepreneurship Center, powered by the YWCA Metropolitan Chicago, is a business and hospitality skills program designed for people seeking employment in the hospitality industry. Over three weeks, participants build skills in Hospitality, Entrepreneurship, Business Skills, and Bartending. Scholarships are provided by Diageo for all program participants.

Which in person cohort would you like to join? Each cohort runs for one month and you must attend all the classes for that month to graduate. Classes will take place in the evenings 5:30pm to 9pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday every week for 3 weeks.

CLASS PREREQUISITES

Participants agree to complete the 10 hour Learning Skills for Life online courses and provide certificate of completion prior to enrolling in the cohort for in-person training. Course information will be provided by your instructor.

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Participants should be present all the time except when sick or an emergency comes up. Please notify your instructor.
Participants who have 3 unexcused absences will be removed from the cohort with the option to take the next cohort.
