• Concert Completion Report

    The Concert Completion Report ensures that service hours earned through outreach concerts are recognized fairly, consistently, and in alignment with VMA’s mission. It is completed by the student’s private teacher after each outreach performance. Teachers are not required to attend the concert in person, but either they, or the student's family, must provide documentation (program, photo, or other proof) confirming the event took place. This keeps the process streamlined while safeguarding the integrity of our verification system.

  • Every Leadership Initiative student is expected to advance their musicianship through consistent instrumental practice and private lessons. On average, VMA expects:

    Elementary & Middle School students: 10–30 minutes of daily practice

    High School students: 30–60 minutes of daily practice
