Building Together Program Sign-up
We offer the opportunity for community members to gain experience in power tool use, wood project assembly/making and finishing for free! No experience is necessary. You will be accompanied by our staff members or our volunteers the whole way through your project. There is a six person maximum to each group, participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Project options for young children will be available in replace of high level projects that require power tool use. PPE will be provided!

Important Details About Participation
1) Our address is 1120 E. D St. Tacoma, WA 98421 and parking is along the fence across the railroad tracks from our building. We do have a few accessible parking spot in front with one designated disabled parking spot that we can make sure is available, please let us know! Our shop is accessible on the first floor, and our office has a mobility ramp, where bathrooms are located. DIRECTIONS & PARKING INFO INCLUDED BELOW 2) We will start the session by completing waivers for each participant and go over the project and any safety guidelines 3) Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. 4) We will provide: a) Eye protection b) Ear protection c) Gloves etc. d) light snacks 5) Please let us know if you have any access needs (i.e. seating, sensory sensitivities, wider door ways etc.) and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
