ZAC Art Camp 2025 offers six weeks of immersive art summer camp tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The camp has two main programs: Comprehensive Art Camp and Children's Creative Art Camp.
Comprehensive Art Camp
1,A fine art program for middle and high school students.
2,The Comprehensive Art Camp will hire a professional live model (non-nude), with the schedule to be determined.

👥 Who Can Join?
- Open to 6th grade and above (no prior experience required).
- Two groups available:
- Foundation Boost – For students looking to strengthen fundamental drawing and painting skills, unlock their potential, explore their creativity, and develop their artistic interests while gaining exposure to various drawing and painting techniques.
- Portfolio Development – Strongly recommended for high school students needing portfolio improvement for art competition, or college applications. ( All Portfolio Development sessions use open materials. )
Students interested in the camp are encouraged to contact me (Zifeng Zang) and submit recent artwork via email at zangzf314@gmail.com for evaluation before registering. I will guide students in enrolling in the appropriate group.
Children's Creative Art Camp - A fun, exploratory art experience for younger students.

👥 Who Can Join?
- Open to 1st–5th grade students with an interest in creative art.
- Focuses on imaginative projects, hands-on exploration, and playful artistic expression.
Refund & Attendance Policy:
1. All camp classes are final sales and non-refundable due to the challenges of running a small business.
2. The camp will not make up missed classes due to personal absences.
3. Families are encouraged to schedule a visit to learn more about the courses and studio before enrolling.

Description:
Students will build a strong foundation in drawing fundamentals—perspective, proportion, value, and shading—while exploring various materials like charcoal and graphite. The curriculum balances technical skills with creative projects encouraging personal expression, storytelling, and conceptual thinking.
Supply request:
1. The tuition fee covers all required supplies, including paper and drawing materials.
2.Easels and drawing boards are not provided in class; however, you have the option to purchase a portable easel and a clip drawing board measuring 22" x 25" from various retailers like Amazon or Michaels.

Week 2: Comprehensive Art Camp, July 21 – July 25
Topic: Foundation Boost - Drawing II

Description:
Week 2 follows a similar format to Week 1. Students who completed Week 1 can explore additional projects, but the focus remains on building foundational skills while integrating storytelling and conceptual thinking.

Week 3: Children's Creative Art Camp , July 28 – August 1

Description:
Students will explore materials based on their needs and ideas, emphasizing independence and creative freedom for young artists.
The camp will offer special projects, including printmaking workshops and clay crafts, with details to be announced soon.

Week 4: Comprehensive Art Camp, August 4 – August 8

Description:
Strong drawing skills provide a solid foundation for painting. This camp’s painting class will offer a systematic approach to monochrome painting, enhancing students’ observational skills. Through various still-life prompts, students will learn to effectively depict form, light direction, and value changes.
