Terms and Conditions

1. We will require a 25% deposit to secure your booking.
2. The full payment must be settled no less than 30 days before the tour starts.
3. Payment details will be stated on the official invoice, sent via Indonesia Herping Tours email (indonesiaherping@gmail.com).
4. The tour price does not include insurance, alcoholic beverages, additional snacks, cigarettes, souvenirs, and flights to and from origin.
5. In the interest of human safety and animal welfare, we require guests to follow instructions of the wildlife guide at all times while in the field. When possible to do it safely and ethically, any interaction with wild animals must be carried out with permission and under close supervision by our wildlife guide.
6. Guests are prohibited from irresponsible interactions with wildlife, especially dangerous species (e.g. free handling and/or kissing venomous snakes). Any guests doing so during the tour will be sent home immediately and banned from future tours.
7. Guests will be participating in tourism activities only. Any form of research, smuggling and/or collection of wildlife is illegal, and will have severe consequences from the Indonesian Government. Guests who are caught attempting to conduct illegal activities will be reported to the authorities, and banned from future tours.
8. Upon arrival in Indonesia, guests will be required to sign an indemnity form, which states that each person will be responsible for their own safety, and that they are here for tourism purposes only.
9. Indonesia Herping Tours reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes through our official communication channels.
