We understand that traveling to port austin and back home can take a full driving day of about 5 hours (trust us, we’ve done it.) if you feel like coming up the night before, we may be able to provide a room for you or help you find a place to stay in Bad Axe so the morning ride is less daunting.

We want to keep the retreat at a nominal yet affordable cost and offer the best quality products for providing nourishment and supplies. What do you feel is the best suggested donation as a ticket of entry that provides all meals, drinks, art supplies, guided experiences, and sauna and cold plunge contrast therapy over the period of an 8 hour day?

I understand that I will be sober, drug, smoke + vape free at least 3 days prior to arriving to the retreat and will not bring any of these types of items upon entering the retreat space and during my entire stay.

At Star Forest Stay, we have the ability to provide you with access to help find your truest potential. We have tended to our space to provide artists of all forms of creativity with access to a place for rest and become inspired under one of the darkest sky areas in Michigan. All you have to do is arrive and look up. On our 6 acre retreat, you can easily sense the frequency of belonging under the stars forming their reflections upon you and the forest you are in. We invite, artists, architects, builders, musicians, poets, writers, painters, photographers, cinematographers, sculptors, cinema performers, dancers, ceramicists, collage and mosaic makers, cooks, pastry chefs, graphic designers, permaculture farmers, architects, engineers, graphic designers. The preserved forestry at Star Forest Stay is intended for honing in on your intuitive sensory path.
