Anna Mae’s is an established street food company and the original Mac N Cheese dealers. We are looking for enthusiastic, food loving people to join our summer festival crew working at some of the best events and festivals around the country. Check out our insta to get a flavour for what we do.

We have two roles available, looking for hardworking and upbeat people to joining our team us as Event Crew, and those with more experience heading up the team as Team Leaders. Both roles require a professional and focused attitude to working within a festival environment.

Whats great about what we do?

This is a super fun industry to work in and we're part of some of the most amazing events and festivals in the UK. We've sung along to the Rolling Stones, witnessed marriage proposals in our queue, been a couples wedding breakfast at Glastonbury and had a few stars come back behind the pans. Every year brings unique and truely wonderful experiences

Working side-by-side with a strong, inclusive team is what Anna Mae's is about – this is an important part of our company culture, collaboration is a big part of what we do and we look out for and support each other

We have regular family dinners and team drinks, and operate a meal swap system with other traders at events so our staff are earning money not spending it at the events we attend

Full training and industry recognised food handling qualifications are provided

No day is the same, it's hard work as much as its loads of fun and the work is super varied – you learn a lot on the job and are supported along the way. Any skills you can offer will be nurtured

Potential to develop the role beyond the summer and get fully involved in the company - many of our crew have become involved in menu development, design, organisation and social media, and grown within our business to become managers

 What’s the job?

Most importantly; cooking outstanding Mac N Cheese!

Working front of house on our truck and festival set-ups, preparing and serving our food to customers
Food prep, cleaning, cooking and serving; ensuring the quality of our food is always 100% when reaching customers
Helping with the set-up, building our kitchen, and setting down at an event
To learn our Health and Safety protocols and follow these closely, maintaining excellent hygiene practices as per the training we provide
Working with an awesome team in a fast paced, collaborative environment - we work long hours, and the work is physical but it's also super fun and rewarding

Who are we looking for?

Someone with lovely manners and a friendly disposition with customers and crew, team spirit and enthusiasm to be involved is really important to us
A can-do attitude and ability to get stuck in, our work is varied so no day is the same and there are lots of opportunities to learn new skills
Our unit is in North West London and you need to be able to get there easily to leave and return from festivals with us
Someone available and flexible with their time - we get to festivals before the public arrive and leave after they go home so work involves weekdays and weekends 
Some cooking ability/bar/catering/hospitality/event experience is useful
A happy camper – we camp in fields a lot! Between 5 and 9 nights at a time
Be available for a trial shift in London, we will want to meet you and introduce you to our team - this is essential
You must have availability to work over weekdays and weekends from June-September, minimum

What’s the job?

Taking responsibility for the running of our truck and stall at festivals – this will be your office for the summer
It’s super varied: cooking, food prep, knowing health and safety inside out, ensuring all food goes out 100% and the way we present ourselves is perfect; we take pride in sending out great Mac from a great looking truck. It’s what our reputation is built upon and is the focus of this role
Working behind the scenes at our unit, building stalls, driving vans, loading and unloading, rigging gas and electrics, management tasks such as stock control, logistics, deliveries, staff organisation
Managing and leading the team: working out hours, motivating your crew, keeping everyone on track serving food to our high standards and ensuring everything is running smoothly 

We are looking for someone who…

DRIVES!! Do not apply for this role unless you have a full, clean license!

Can access London for van packing and prep days at our unit - we are based in NW London 

Is flexible – we do not work standard hours or set days, evenings and weekends are part of the job and we need someone who can work with this kind of ad hoc schedule
Has the energy and enthusiasm to get stuck in to lots of different tasks where no two days are the same – this is a unconventional job with long hours and can be physically tough, but it’s also super rewarding and enriching
You must be 100% available from end of May to the start of September – this is our festival season and we work solidly throughout this time. We will need you to complete trial days in London
Someone with experience in catering/hospitality – this is a Team Leader role and you need demonstrate you have the skills and understanding to manage a team and keep everything running at its best
A love of tent life, summer in the great outdoors and festival toilets – we camp a lot!
Is looking for seasonal work and understands the rhythms of this kind of job
