Hello! We are CommUnity Market Winnipeg. We are a collection of small businesses and everyday people wanting to sell their lightly used and new clothing and goods. We believe anyone can be a vendor, even those selling from their personal closets! Our goal is to unite our community through this partnership.
Thank you for your interest in joining our Clothing & Goods Market! Please fill this form out to help us determine how much space you will need.
Our theme for this pop up is "$5 and Up Closet Clear Out Sale". If you do join this market, you must be comfortable selling your clothing at the price points listed above. (Basically a $20 and under sale.) SMALL BUSINESSES DO NOT HAVE TO SELL AT THIS PRICE POINT. ONLY APPLICABLE TO CLOTHING VENDORS (NON SMALL BUSINESSES)
Our market will be on September 28 from 11-5:30pm (11-12pm set up, 12-430 market time, 430-5:30 clean up) at Bord Aire Community Centre, 471 Hampton St. If you require additional time to set up or clean up, please indicate below. There will be an extra fee if you do require more time, this will range anywhere from $5-$30 depending on how many others select this option.
We only accept clothing vendors that are selling new with tags or lightly worn clothing. You may of course sell clothing that has slight flaws - use your best judgment. Only sell what you would buy!
It is $45 to join, this includes unlimited space and use of tables and chairs. Please note: if you require 3+ tables and/fixtures you may be charged an additional fee on top of $45. You may bring fixtures if needed, please indicate approximately how much you're bringing below. (Fixtures such as racks, storage containers, portable changing rooms, etc). Racks are available to rent for $10 each. Please indicate below if you'd like to rent a rack.
As always, we welcome small businesses to join! Please indicate your small business, your social media platform (Instagram, Facebook, etc) and what type of business you are. We'd love to know more about you! At this time, we are undecided if we will be accepting food vendors. We still encourage you to fill out this form if you are a food vendor so we can determine interest.
Please note this application is for ONE vendor only, due to growing interest we are unable to accommodate joint vendors (vendors sharing space) this market. Each vendor will have to pay $45 to join.
