Electric Vehicle Incentive:

GCPW set aside funds to help customers install Electric Vehicle charging (level 2 or equivalent) equipment or 240v plugs. These monies will be available on a first come first serve basis. Credit will be limited to current residential installations.
- A $250 credit will be given to customers that install 240V (level 2 or equivalent) electric vehicle charging equipment or a 14-50 receptacle with a 240v mobile charger.
- GCPW will inspect and verify installation prior to credits being given. (Note: This is for the purpose of visually identifying the charger and the amperage only).
- A copy of registration showing ownership/lease of an electric vehicle with a minimum battery size of 40kWh required.
- One vehicle charger installation credit allowed per residential meter/account.
- All electrical wiring must be permitted through the City of Greer or the appropriate County having jurisdiction.
- GCPW reserves the right to discontinue this incentive or deny credit reimbursement for failure to meet the terms or intent of this incentive.
