      Number of Sessions

      • Appointments are scheduled 6-8 weeks apart to target specific phases of the hair growth cycle.

      Process

Laser hair removal uses pulses of light to target and destroy actively growing hair follicles. The laser energy travels down the hair follicle and transforms into heat which is absorbed by the melanin (color) in the hair, effectively damaging the cells responsible for producing the hair and inhibiting future hair growth.

      CONSISTENCY IS KEY

Multiple sessions are needed to achieve long-lasting results. Stick with the process for the best possible outcome!

      Number of Sessions

      • For optimal results, a series of 3-5 treatments is recommended.
      • Appointments are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart. This allows your skin enough time to heal and produce collagen between sessions, helping you achieve the best possible outcome.
      • Depending on your goals and skin's response, more treatments may be suggested for enhanced results.

      Process

Microneedling, or Collagen Induction Therapy, stimulates the skin’s natural healing process by creating tiny “injuries” that promote collagen production. Although microneedling may sound intimidating, the needles used are microscopic. While the treatment can cause some discomfort, areas with deeper imperfections may feel slightly more sensitive than those with more superficial concerns. To minimize discomfort, a topical numbing cream is applied 20 minutes before the treatment.

Microneedling Results: How Soon and How Long Do They Last?

After the first session, most clients notice firmer skin and a more even tone within one to two weeks. For areas with significant imperfections, results may be gradual and multiple sessions are often needed. Since microneedling stimulates collagen production, benefits continue to improve over six months. For optimal results, combine microneedling with a good at-home skincare routine can help maintain and enhance your results while keeping your skin looking its best!

      Downtime

Microneedling requires no official downtime. After your treatment, it's normal for your skin to appear red, which typically lasts up to 48 hours. Some mild swelling and dryness may also occur in certain areas. Tiny pin point scabs may appear within 24-72 hours post-procedure and can remain for up to 7 days. These will shed off naturally, no picking or exfoliating these off! While some clients return to work right away, others prefer to schedule their session over the weekend for added comfort.

      Good Candidates for Microneedling

During your consultation, we'll evaluate whether microneedling is a suitable option for you. It's important to note that microneedling may not be recommended for individuals with certain health conditions or those taking specific medications that could affect the treatment's safety or effectiveness. The consultation helps us customize the treatment to meet your unique skin needs, ensuring the best possible outcome!

The Impact of Haircare and Makeup on Clear Skin

Achieving clear skin goes beyond skincare products and treatments like LED light therapy. External factors, such as haircare and makeup, can also play a significant role in skin health. Certain haircare products can contain pore-clogging ingredients that may contribute to breakouts, while makeup choices should be made carefully to prevent clogging pores and aggravating acne. By being mindful of these factors and combining them with your skincare routine and professional treatments, you’ll maximize your efforts in achieving clearer, healthier skin.
