The Center for Improving Youth Justice (CIYJ) invites practitioners, experts and advocates to submit presentation proposals for our 2025 Agency Coordinators Training, which will take place Aug. 7-9 in Boston. The training aims to share innovative strategies, best practices, practical knowledge and actionable tools to improve the outcomes of youth justice agencies, which can be replicated in other jurisdictions.
Presentation Topics
Proposals may address, but are not limited to, the following areas:
- Reentry/ transition practices
- Creating a safe and positive facility or program culture
- Building and strengthening relationships with young people and their families
- Staff wellness
- Strengths-based approaches
- Innovative and effective behavior management strategies
- Integrating trauma-informed approaches
- Addressing equity and inclusion
- Creating partnerships between agencies and community organizations
- Mentoring and leadership development
