  • WELCA Registration: How it works!

    New this year is a 3 step registration process...

     

    1. Register up to 6 children on the "Step 1: Registration Form" - this form is designed to be quick!

    2. Complete "Step 2: Participant Information" this form is as streamlined as our insurance will allow. It needs to be completed for every rider attending the camp. This form can be completed at your leisure with a due date of March 17th. You will be send this link along with your registration confirmation, and will be sent a reminder in a weeks time.

    3. Step 3 is our waivers! Every rider will need a completed waiver ahead of time. The link to the waivers will be sent to you at the end of Step 2. You can also find the link on our website under our FAQ tab. Waivers have a due date of March 17th. We recognize these waivers can take a bit of time and require a bit of information. It is our hope that by giving ample time to complete waivers we will create a seamless experience during drop off at our camps.

    The Spring Break Camp runs March 24-28
    2 Options for the Spring Break Camp:

    1. Horse Rider Camp is a full day for those ages 8-16
    Tentative time for the program:
    The camp runs from 8:45am-3:30pm.
    Drop-off is from 8:30am-8:45am and Pick-up is from from 3:30pm-3:45pm.

    2. Pony Up Camp is a half day camp for those ages 4-8
    Tentative time for the program:
    The AM camp runs from 8:45am - 11:45pm.
    Drop-off for the AM is from 8:30-8:45am and Pick-up is from 11:45-12:00pm.


    Objective
    The objective for our day camps is to enable youth to explore the fun experience of horses, while encouraging resilience, emotional control, and positive attitudes towards new challenges. We use a variety of activities on and off horse including games, crafts, and horse care. 

    Program Requirements
    Participants must be able to have two-way communication with the staff and be physically able to mount their horse from a mounting block. We do not provide leaders or sidewalkers. You can find information on the Little Bits Therapeutic Riding program at Little Bits Website (littlebits.ca)


    Cancellation Policy
    Cancellation of a WELCA Camp Program can be obtained by emailing info@welca.ca account at least 14 days before the program start date, with refunds of the full amount minus the non-refundable deposit ($100) being refunded to the original card of purchase. Cancellations within the 14 days before the camp are not guaranteed refunds, may be dependent on our ability to fill the cancelled spot, and may result in a credit or admission for a future program (this credit/admission may not equal the total value of the original camp price).
