Resident artist is not an employee of Say Art Studios / Bake The Studio LLC. Resident Artist is responsible for reporting income for tax purposes for all art sales made through Say Art Studios. Say Art Studios will report/pay all sales tax collected for all gallery sales.

Yes, I understand.
Resident artist is asked to carry business insurance / renters insurance to cover artworks. Say Art Studios is not responsible for any damage or loss to property or artworks for any reasons. Say Art Studios will carry the business license with the city of Pacific Missouri for Say Art Studios to operate legally in the commercial storefront.

Yes, I understand.
Resident artist signs a lease for an agreed upon length of time. Resident Artist has 24 hour / 7 day a week key access to the gallery / studio space. A $50 gallery key / studio refundable deposit is required.

Yes, I understand.
Each resident artist works in the gallery a chosen number of hours a month. Rent is based on monthly hours worked in the gallery. Can you commit to work in community with other artists for no less than 4 hours a month to cover needed shifts, help with gallery events and attend meetings?

Yes, I am a full / part time artist.Sure, Some weeks I will have more time available than others, however I am committed to working with others to maintain open hours for the gallery.No, I have too many other commitments to spend any time at the gallery.
Resident Artist agrees to and signs an artist contract upon acceptance. All sales for artwork shown in the gallery are rang via the gallery with a commission paid to the artist for sales of artwork.

To be considered for a Resident Artist space with Say Art Studios in The Gallery at 123 an artist must complete/submit the online application form (above).

All applicants will be contacted within 30 days of application via email with information regarding gallery availability/ the interview process. If spaces are unavailable, this resident artist application will be kept on file.

Interview: Be prepared to present three examples of your work for review during the in person interview. If you have a CV or resume' to share, you may email this prior to the interview to say@sayartstudios.com
