George & Betty White shared a passion for philanthropy, as evidenced by a lifetime of generous donations to a multitude of local, state, and national organizations.
Betty created the George & Betty White Foundation in 1993 after her beloved George passed away.
Purpose: This competitive scholarship supports high school students pursuing a degree or certification at a technical or trade school. We prioritize individuals who are dedicated to advancing their education in hands-on, specialized training environments. See below for the entire list of qualifying programs.
Reward: If selected, students graduating from Crook County School District #1 will be awarded a $1,500 scholarship for financial assistance to advance their degree or certification.
Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:
- A graduating senior from Crook County School District #1
- Two (2) references from a teacher or boss
- Verify qualifying program acceptance/application
- Provide a high school transcript
- Make a video: A 1-2 minute video helping us get to know you
- Complete the online application
- Application must be submitted by April 30th, 2025 11:59 pm.
