Member's Show 2025 - Registration
GVCA invites all members to exhibit during our Annual Member's show opening on May 8th. Visual artists may submit up to two pieces per person. We are looking to include performance artists in our exhibition, and if you'd be interested in either performing, and/or video display of your performance, please email info@gvartscouncil.org before April 1st to arrange.
Show Runs: May 8th - June 27th
Artwork drop off: April 29th - May 1st at GVCA Artwork pick up: June 28th, July 1st - 3rd - All artwork must be ready to hang in the gallery using wire, sawtooth or other picture hanging hardware (that can hang easily on a hook.) I understand the Genesee Valley Council on the Arts (hereinafter referred to as GVCA) will take a 25% commission on sales. I understand that I will be required to drop off and pick up my work at designated times. Between the drop off period and pick up period, my work is insured against damage or theft. GVCA will not be responsible for my work beyond the pick-up date. I understand that GVCA will only hold my work for 30 days beyond the pick-up date, after which GVCA may dispose of the work in any way it sees fit.
Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace
* In collaboration with GVCA, Genesee Valley Citizens for Peace will be presenting the Paula Henry Peace award to the artist whose artwork most reflects the theme of peace. The Paula Henry Peace Award honors the work and values of our dear friend Paula Henry, who passed away in 2017. Paula was an artist, and a longtime member of both GVCP and GVCA. The winning piece will be selected by judges representing GVCA and GVCP, and will receive a $250 cash award.
