  • For your information:

Names and/or any identifiable information will be removed/concealed from the applications before review.  All applications will be reviewed by the Texas School Charities Scholarship Committee (TSCSC).  Applications will be ranked individually by the committee members, and the applicant with the highest score will receive the scholarship.  The 2026 TSCSC has the right to refuse any application that does not meet established criteria. The Texas School Memorial Scholarship (TSMS) does not discriminate or request information to make award decisions based on ethnicity, national origin, gender, identity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or age in accordance with federal anti-discrimination laws and statutes.  The TSMS will be awarded on March 3, 2026.  In the event the recipient can not attend TSPP, the scholarship will be awarded to the applicant with the second-highest score. Scholarships are only valid for TSPP 2026 (April 26-May 1). They are not transferable. Class selection will be determined by the TSCSC. To decide placement, an applicant’s class choices will be taken into consideration, and every effort will be made to determine the best class fit for that applicant based on their choices and their goals.  However, TSCSC has the final decision on class placement, and the recipient must agree with this decision before submitting. Instructors are not allowed to grant space to applicants. Contacting instructors to request placement is not permitted, and doing so can result in the withdrawal of the recipient’s award.
