All proceeds will be used to fund and support Girl Scout STEM Day.
The WiSTEM chapter at The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is hosting a fun-filled day to expose Girl Scouts in the local Denver Metro area to the excitement and curiosity of science in April, 2025! Our goal is to educate young women and to demonstrate the value of STEM, which aligns with the values of Girl Scouts of America. As a STEM professional yourself, we hope that you appreciate our efforts and can support us in this event. We are kindly asking for donations/sponsorships from companies and individuals.
At this event, 150 Girl Scouts are coming IN-PERSON to do hands-on science experiments and to hear from and ask questions to career panelists. Since this is an all-day event, we hope that sponsorships can support the food and experimental supplies that we need for our attendees, which include the Girl Scouts, their adult troop leaders, and our volunteers.
This event is very important to our Girl Scouts and we have already received enthusiastic interest in the event (we hit capacity within one week!). The opportunity this grants to the girls is a far-reaching and long-lasting impact to encourage young girls to pursue science as an education and career. It is detrimental that this event happens for the future generation, which would not be possible without a donation of funds. Please consider sponsoring this event. It is much appreciated.
