CIAF AMBASSADOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (EOI)

KEY INFORMATION

Role Responsibilities:

• Share regular, engaging content about CIAF on Instagram, Facebook, and/or TikTok (minimum 3 posts and 3-5 stories per month leading up to the fair).
• Attend pre-event promotional activities and the event itself, posting live updates and behind-the-scenes content.
• Collaborate with CIAF’s marketing team to ensure accurate messaging and respectful representation of CIAF.
• Create a final recap post or video summarising the highlights of the fair.
• Engage with followers by responding to comments, DMs, and encouraging participation.

Selection Criteria:

• Strong social media presence with engaged audiences on key platforms.
• Demonstrated interest in First Nations art, culture, or community events.
• High-quality content creation skills, including photography, videography, and storytelling.
• Experience in promoting cultural or community events is an advantage.

Deliverables:

1. Minimum number of posts and stories (as outlined above).
2. At least one blog post or video summarising the event experience.
3. Audience engagement reports post-event.

Remuneration 

• CIAF Merch Pack
• Website Feature (Estimated Value: $500-$700)
• Exclusive Events: Opening Night Ticket (Value: $80)
• VIP Preview Ticket (Value: $250)
• Social Media Exposure (20K+ followers) (Estimated Value: $250-$500) 

Total: $1,500 in-kind package (estimated value)

Performance-based bonuses ($50 for every 500 attendees referred via trackable codes or links).

I understand that photographs and/or video recordings (collectively, the "Images") may be taken during the performance/event. By signing below, I grant Cairns Indigenous Art Fair (CIAF) ("Licensee") a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right and license to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works of the Images including but not limited to the following purposes: 

Promote future workshops, conferences, and events hosted by Licensee. Use on Licensee's website and social media platforms. Include in workshop/conference materials (e.g., presentations, handouts). 
 

Scope of Use: 
The Images may be used in the following media: websites, social media platforms, printed collateral and more. 
 
Image Alteration: 
CIAF may edit or alter the Images for minor adjustments (e.g., cropping, brightness). I understand that Licensee will not use the Images in a way that misrepresents me.

Right to Withdraw Consent: I have the right to withdraw consent for the use of the Images of me at any time. Such withdrawal of consent shall be made in writing to marketing@ciaf.com.au
