2025 Illini Summer Academies Academy Specific Scholarships

Please utilize this form to apply for consideration to recieve a scholarship as part of your participation in certain academies that are offering scholarships directly to their students. Note that these scholarships will only go toward your enrollment in certain academies. If you do not see your academy on this list, you might consider applying for the Trailblazer Scholarship.
ISA 2025 Academy Specific Scholarships:

These Academy-specific scholarships are offered by the academy host department based on departmental or grant funding. Please see the list of academies offering scholarships and familiarize yourself with the requirements.

2025 Academies Offering Scholarships:
- Harness the Power: Application of New Technologies to Improve Agriculture
- Growing with Tech: Intro to Digital Ag
For consideration to receive one of these scholarships, you must meet the following criteria:

Eligibility

This scholarship is available to scholars who meet the following criteria:

1. The scholar demonstrates an interest in pursuing a career or field of study related to the academy.

2. The scholar must submit responses to the essay prompts included below in this application.

3. A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or mentor that can speak to who you are, your goals and career interests, your connection with the person, and, how granting you this scholarship would be a good opportunity for you. The letter can not be from a friend, family member/friend, or relative. Letters should be emailed to Mark Becker (mbbecker@illinois.edu). The letter must be in PDF or Word format. DEADLINE: SUNDAY, MARCH 16

Applicants will be informed via email within 3-5 Business Days of applying if they have received the requested scholarship. Until then, your Zsuites application will be listed as pending.
