Making a Difference
SONU has several volunteer opportunities available and are looking to match the right talent for each of the roles. Please review the roles below and select the one(s) that you would like to added to the list for consideration. Max 3 total selections.
SONU Board of Directors. This is the engine for the overall vision. This board creates the direction and momentum for all avenues of SONU. Ideal board members would be those with time to volunteer to the strategic planning and collaboration to garner the best collective outcomes in each area of SONU.

Memphis Revolution Board of Directors. Making decisions for the Freedom Funnels - the career-focused training avenues that will empower people to sustain themselves, have pride in their community and be a contributor to sustainability of the ecosystem in the future. Ideal Board Members would be those willing to find participants for the funnels and commit time to the development and delivery of a funnel. The Freedom Funnels are: Esquire Club for Future Lawyers, Construction Core, Teacher Core, Future Film Makers, and Memphis Revolution Sports.

Crown Literacy Board of Directors. With focus on literacy at all levels and ages, and Future Teachers of America, this Board of Directors gives energy to the delivery of the foundation for all progress. The ideal Board Members would be those with an education background as well as those in touch with diverse populations who could benefits from literacy programming.
