I acknowledge that I have read and fully understand the terms and conditions of this liability waiver agreement, and that I agree to be bound by its terms.
1. I understand that hiking and other outdoor activities involve inherent risks and hazards, including but not limited to falls, slips, trips, collisions, encounters with wildlife, exposure to extreme weather conditions, and other unforeseen dangers that may result in injury, illness, or death.
2. I voluntarily assume all risks and hazards associated with the hike and waive any and all claims against the Reptile & Amphibian Center of the Rockies (RACR), its officers and volunteers, for any injury, harm, or loss that may occur as a result of my participation in the hike.
3. I agree to follow all safety instructions and guidelines provided by the hike leaders and to use my own judgment and discretion in determining whether to participate in any particular activity.
4. I certify that I am physically and mentally fit to participate in the hike and that I have disclosed any medical conditions, allergies, or other health-related issues that may affect my ability to participate safely.
5. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless RACR, its officers and volunteers, from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from my participation in the hike, including but not limited to medical expenses, legal fees, and other related costs.
