Your 6-Step BHRT Journey

 

1️⃣ Step 1: Tell Us What You’re Feeling
Complete your medical history + symptom questionnaire. This becomes the foundation for your personalized hormone plan.

 

2️⃣ Step 2: Lab Testing—Made Simple (No Outside Labs Accepted)
Once Kelley reviews your intake form, you’ll receive an email with a custom lab order designed just for you. To maintain consistency and ensure accuracy, we only accept lab results completed through our process.

You’ll choose from:

• At-home saliva test kits
  💲 $140–$395, conveniently shipped to your door
• Bloodwork through approved local lab partners (e.g., Quest Labs)
  💡 We’ll guide you to a nearby draw center—pricing is incredibly affordable, starting as low as $10 total. 

📩 Expect clear step-by-step instructions from Kelley on which labs to order and how to complete them—without any confusion or unnecessary costs.

 

3️⃣ Step 3: Your Personalized BHRT Plan
Once labs are back, Kelley will invite you to a 60-minute consultation (virtual or in-person at our Loveland location). You’ll get:

• A customized BHRT protocol
• Supplement recommendations
• A collaborative plan shared with your PCP

Guidance on filling any prescriptions through our compounding pharmacy

💳 $200 due at time of consult (with your $50 deposit already applied)

 

4️⃣ Step 4: 90-Day Progress Check
Complete a short follow-up form + optional labwork. Then meet with Kelley for a 30-minute check-in ($100) to make data-backed adjustments.

 

5️⃣ Step 5: Annual Optimization Session
At 12 months, Kelley will reassess your labs + symptoms to make sure your plan is still optimized. This is a 30-minute consult ($100).

 

6️⃣ Step 6: Ongoing Support (Only If Needed)
You’ll rarely need follow-ups after your plan is dialed in. But if you do:

• 30-minute consults ($100)
• Quick 15-minute “Ask the Clinician” check-ins ($50)

What Happens Next?

After submitting this form, you’ll receive:

1. A secure link to complete your symptom and health history assessment
2. An email from Kelley with lab testing instructions
3. Full support from Kima if you have questions along the way

 

🚫 BHRT Not Currently Recommended If You:

• Are you currently using hormonal birth control or a hormonal IUD
  (We can help you transition off, but hormone balancing isn’t possible while using synthetic hormones)
  • ✅ Exception: Copper IUD (ParaGard) is acceptable
• Have a history of breast cancer or a strong family history of breast cancer (excluded at this time)
• Have been diagnosed with Endometriosis or PCOS (outside our current clinical scope)
• Have Polycystic Liver Disease
• Are a male (we hope to expand soon!)
• Are under the age of 35 and experiencing perimenopause symptoms (please consult your physician)
• Are currently smoking or vaping
  • (We strongly advise quitting before starting BHRT. Smoking may prevent safe estrogen therapy.)

By moving forward with BHRT, you agree to:

• Follow the plan: This includes recommended dosing, lab testing, and communication throughout the process.
• Continue regular medical care with your primary care provider or specialist for routine screenings (e.g., mammograms, colonoscopies, pap smears, prostate exams, etc.).
• Report any adverse reactions promptly to your medical provider.
• Communicate via email when appropriate and consent to receive secure communications about your care, including Personal Health Information (PHI). You may revoke this consent at any time in writing.
• Accept financial responsibility: You understand that insurance or HSA cards may not cover lab tests, consultations, or medications. You agree to pay out-of-pocket with no guarantee of reimbursement.
