    Schedule
    August 13, 2026 – Weigh In 3pm-6pm; 6:30 pm Rabbit and Poultry Shows
    August 14, 2026 – 5 pm Goat, Lamb, Cattle, Swine Shows
    August 15, 2026 – 4 pm Exhibitor Meeting, Meet and Greet Buyers, 6 pm Auction
    August 16, 2026—Livestock Load Out

     

  • I have attended or intend to complete the quality assurance training and wish to exhibit at the Monongalia County Fair Livestock Show and Auction with the following animals.

    I have read and understand, and in consideration for being permitted to exhibit at this event, agree and consent to abide by the rules of competition, including Monongalia County Fair General Rule and Regulations and the IAFE (International Association of Fairs and Expositions) National Code of Show Ring Ethics as stated in the premium list of this event.

    1.        Animals will not be permitted to leave the Monongalia County Fair until after event on Saturday.

    2.        All Market Grand and Reserve Champion Winners must sell at the Monongalia County Fair Show and Auction (owners may buy back their animal with a 3% fee).

    3.        All consigned market animals will participate in the auction (owners may buy back their animal with a 3% fee).

    Owners will be allowed up to TWO animals to be sold at the auction. Market rabbits and market chicken will be sold in a pen and a group of three rabbits or chickens will be counted as one consigned animal.

  • Owners that have animals donated for resale will be responsible for exhibiting these animals at the resale auction that evening.

    Owners may pay up to 6% auction commission fee plus any other fees designated by the species that have participated in the auction. The actual commission fee will be determined by the Fair Board prior to the auction. All animals will be sold by the head with exception for market rabbit and market poultry which will be sold by the pen. The auction commission fee will be utilized to assist with the current/future costs of the Monongalia County Fair Show and Auction.
