  • Welcome to the Department of Education Scholarship Application page! We are thankful to God for entrusting these resources to us to help support students as they pursue and fund their education. Please read all instructions below carefully, respond as appropriate, and complete your application by uploading your essay according to the prompt at the bottom of this page.

    Eligibility:
    Education majors who have either applied or been accepted into the Wheaton Teacher Education Program (WheTEP) are eligible to apply. Students must be admitted into WheTEP in order to receive scholarship funds.
    Due to federal guidelines, education majors who are international students on F-1 Visas are only eligible to apply for merit-based scholarships.

    Awards:
    The Department of Education, in collaboration with the Student Financial Services Department, is honored to grant over $100,000 annually. Please refer to the website for specific information about each scholarship. Awards typically range from $400 to $7,000 per student. All applicants will be notified of a decision at the end of April.
