Jaywalkers Event Rules & Regulations
Booth Spaces
- All vendors must provide proof of valid and current $2 million liability insurance.
- All food vendors must meet all required standards and submit all necessary documents to both the Camrose Fire Department and Alberta Health Services (AHS) before being approved to attend the event. Failure to comply will result in denial of vendor status or removal from the event.
- All beverage and personal services vendors must meet all required standards and submit all necessary documents to AHS before being approved to attend the event. Failure to comply will result in denial of vendor status or removal from the event.
- Vendors must ensure that all structures and accompanying items remain within their designated vendor space.
- Generator use must be pre-approved. The Camrose Fire Department reserves the right to shut down or remove any generator that does not pass inspection. Only park-model generators that meet noise regulations are permitted. No fuel storage is allowed on-site.
- Power is not included. We cannot guarantee access to or supply of power from source towers along the street.
- Extension cords are not permitted on walkways and streets. Cords must be secured overhead from your booth to the power source.
- Booth locations are assigned at the discretion of the Jaywalkers Committee. While requests will be considered, placement is not guaranteed.
- Vendors featuring live entertainment must notify the organizers at the time of registration.
- Music played within vendor booths must be kept at a reasonable volume and must be family-friendly.
- Vendors must set up and operate their booths during all official Jaywalkers retail hours. Failure to do so may result in denial of vendor status for the following year.
- Security will be in place from move-in to move-out for the safety of vendors and attendees.
- All tents and structures need to be appropriately secured (weighted) to protect from wind.
Fees
- Vendor space is not secured until full payment has been received.
- No refunds will be issued once payment has been received unless approved by the Jaywalkers committee
Move-In
Thursday, June 5th | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
- No loading vehicles are permitted to stay overnight.
- Each vendor may bring one vehicle into the setup area but must remove it immediately after unloading to allow space for other vendors.
During the event, no vehicles will be allowed within the venue except for emergency vehicles.
Move-Out
Sunday, June 8th, after 6:00 PM (or as directed by the committee)
- To ensure the safety of Jaywalkers attendees and vendors, booths must not be dismantled, and vehicles will not be permitted for display removal until this time.
