2026 Family Support Weekend ADULT Volunteer Sign-up

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Foster Love Project’s annual Family Support Weekend!
When: June, Friday 12 - June, Saturday 13th

Where: Laurelville Retreat Center 941 Laurelville Lane, Mt. Pleasant, PA 15666

Volunteer Shifts: We are looking for volunteers to assist with childcare during the following shifts:

Friday, June 12: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

Saturday, June 13: 8:45 AM – 12:15 PM (Lunch will be provided for Saturday volunteers.)

How To Volunteer:

If you would like to sign-up and are 14-17, please fill out the YOUTH Volunteer Sign-up.

For all volunteers 14 years old and older we require the following:
- Child Abuse and Criminal Background Check. Please see below for links. (If you have clearances that are 4 years old, we can accept them.)
- Teens 14 & older will be allowed to volunteer with the younger children in attendance. An adult must accompany a volunteer under 18 years old, please no dropping off 14-17 volunteers to the event.

Volunteer Expectations: Volunteers should be prepared to walk short distances, engage with children, handle various situations with flexibility, be able to be outside and bring a positive attitude. FLP Staff may need to reassign volunteers to different age groups based on children's needs or group sizes.Volunteer Support & Virtual Orientation: There will be a Virtual Volunteer Orientation held before the Family Support Weekend Event to share with all volunteers. This virtual orientation is to share what to expect at the event and logistics of Laurelville. We will also have a question and answer session immediately after the orientation. This will be held on Monday, June 1st at 6:30 PM. There will be staff members on the Laurelville grounds to help with age groups and volunteers throughout the event. We are very thankful for your time and support for this exciting event!
