2025 ENAL Summer Initiative
Dear Parent,

The SoulFisher Ministries is gearing up for the Educate Now to Achieve Later (ENAL) Summer Initiative. This program serves students in grades K – 6, only. The program begins on Monday, June 2, 2025, and runs through Friday, July 25, 2025. The hours of operation are 7:00 a.m.-2:00p.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Transportation to and from the program will be provided for students living within the Riverview Gardens School District. Students living outside the district will need to be dropped off and picked up by their parents.

We are planning many fun-filled activities which your child will participate in. The children are enrolled on a first come, first served basis and there are only 30 slots available. Please submit your completed application by Friday, May 2, 2025, at 5 p.m. Any applications returned after the first 30 slots are filled will be put on a waiting list.

ALL paperwork must be complete. Incomplete applications will not be considered, so be sure to complete everyline on every page. If a question does not apply to you, write “N/A” on the line.

The cost for each student for the 2025 ENAL Summer Initiative is $50 per student and is nonrefundable. Applications will be considered incomplete if the $50 participation fee is not paid atthe time the application is submitted.

WHEREAS, The SoulFisher Ministries is engaged in providing free tutoring in all school academic subjects under the Educate Now to Achieve Later (ENAL) program to students who have contracted for services; and WHEREAS, The SoulFisher Ministries is a non-profit organization operating in the state of Missouri, IT IS AGREED, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS HEREIN, THAT:
1. The tutoring services are offered free of charge to students participating in the program. Study materials deemed necessary for such services shall be provided by The SoulFisher Ministries.
2. The ENAL Summer Initiative will commence on the first Monday in June and end on the last Friday in July.
3. The subjects in which tutoring will be offered include, but are not limited to:
  Mathematics, Reading, English Language Arts (ELA), and Science.
4. The tutoring sessions will be offered from 7:00am – 2:00pm, Monday –Friday.
5. The tutoring program is designed for small groups of students, although individual tutoring sessions during program hours may be pre-arranged.
6. Transportation will be provided by The SoulFisher Ministries to students who live within a five-mile radius of the school/facility where the program is offered.
7. Parent agrees to release immunization records, IEPs, grades, report cards, test scores, and disciplinary reports to The SoulFisher Ministries over the course of the tutoring sessions to monitor improvement in performance in the subjects tutored and behavior. Furthermore, parent agrees that these documents may be requested from and provided by the school.
8. Client shall indemnify and hold The SoulFisher Ministries harmless for any resulting test scores that do not satisfy the client’s expectations (i.e., The SoulFisher Ministries cannot guarantee any specific level or degree of improvement on test scores by the student, since test scores are directly connected to the amount of study and effort applied and invested by the individual student).
9. Any client having more than 3 unexcused absences from tutoring sessions will be removed from the ENAL program until further notice.
10. Smoking and/or drinking alcoholic beverages are not permitted during tutoring sessions. In addition, the client agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of The SoulFisher Ministries and the school district.
11. It is essential and expected that the client and the tutor always be courteous and respectful toward each other. The company reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate a contract on grounds of disrespectful or offensive conduct by student or parent.
12. The SoulFisher Ministries reserves the right to postpone tutoring sessions in the event of extraordinary weather conditions or unexpected illness of the tutor, or other health or safety emergency, in which event, tutoring sessions will resume as regularly scheduled.
13. Student, parent and/or guardian agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless The SoulFisher Ministries and any patrons, employees, or volunteers of The SoulFisher Ministries, against any and all claims, demands, suits, losses and causes of action by any individual with regard to the tutorial program.

From time to time, The SoulFisher Ministries receives last minute tickets or admission to local museums or events. We also provide visits to colleges, universities, prospective employers and other enrichment opportunities. We would like to take every advantage of these great opportunities. By signing below, you are giving permission for your son/daughter to attend these field trips without specific permission slip on a given day. The SoulFisher Ministries will make every effort to provide notice of the field trip at least 24 hours in advance.
