  • Volunteer Options

Within our organization you have the option to serve with Zoe Ministries for events or at Hannah's House. The Zoe Ministries option is great if you would like to partner with us, but maybe don't have the availability needed to serve with our residents, or if you are under 21. This opportunity will be on an as-needed basis. The other option is to serve at Hannah's House with our 12-17 year old female residents. You will see more requirements and information for this option if you choose to continue the application process for the Hannah's House option.

It is the purpose of Zoe Ministries/Hannah's House to ensure a safe, sound and secure environment for the residents in order to aid their healing. This means we must ensure soundness of staff and other related individuals (e.g., interns, volunteers, etc.) who will interact professionally with residents.
  • Availability

Many of our volunteer roles have set-times. We will try and work with your availability when appropriate. Most roles require a minimum of coming to Hannah's House every other week.
  • Hannah's House Volunteer Roles

We have several set volunteer positions at Hannah's House such as, Electives/Clubs, Classroom/Tutoring, and Shift/House Management. Please read through the descriptions below to see which options fit your gifts best!
  • Electives + Clubs

Every resident will choose an elective. We match volunteers with the same gifts and interests as our residents. Teaching an elective is one-on-one time with a resident and requires a bi-weekly or weekly commitment. Clubs typically meet once a month. Please select any options below that you would be comfortable leading.
  • Classroom + Tutoring

Our girls at Hannah's House go to school full-time in the house. Since every girl will be at a different level of education, we need skilled and committed volunteers to help support our teacher. Our classroom volunteer times are typically 9:00AM - 12:00PM, M-TH.
  • Shift/House Management

Depending on your availability, a shift role may be best fit for you! With this volunteer time you would work alongside staff to assist with daily activities. Activities could include cleaning, meal preparation, chaperoning field trips, organizing storage, etc.
  • Certifications

We would love to know if you have any license/certifications that could be utilized at Hannah's House.
