By submitting this Application you agree to authorize the licensed veterinarian you have listed to release information about your past/current pets to Middle Earth Shilohs.
Completing this application is the first step in the process to acquire puppy from Middle Earth Shilohs in Kentucky.
This application does not guarantee that you will get a puppy from Middle Earth Shilohs the breeder reserves the right to refuse placement at any given pointe in time for any reason.
If your application is approved you will be notified via email and your name will be added to our waiting list for a puppy in the order in which your application was received & approved by date to keep it fair for everyone applying.
I do not announce my litters until puppies are 1+ weeks of age and everything looks like its going well with moms and babies litters are announced in MES Facebook Group (Middle Earth Shilohs) if you are approved families are encouraged to join the group/page so they can remain up to date on future pairings along with staying in touch with other puppy owners who may have a sibling to yours.
When puppies are 2 weeks old I will make a post on my FB group/page letting everyone know that puppies are "available" to reserve and pictures of each indivaual puppy will be posted so that your family can see the choices/options that are available from my current litter.
It is the applicants responsibility to reach out and contact me through Email or FB Messeger which is the fastest way to contact me and get a response.
If I personally reach out and contact you about a specific puppy & do not hear back from you within 12 hours you will lose your place on my waiting list for that current litter and the next person on my list will be contacted.
Once a choice is made by your family Middle Earth Shilohs requires a $250 non refundable deposit to hold that puppy for your family the deposit goes towards the final purchase price of your MES puppy deposit must be paid via PayPal (Friends & Family) within 12 hours of Approval Email or FB Message to reserve a puppy.
MES does this in consideration for all those who are patiently waiting to add a puppy & so that puppies can go to there forever homes in a timely manner so that all puppy owners to be able to enjoy and bond with them during there baby stage.
Please Note that if you make the deposit you are committing to take that specific puppy.
The deposit that you are paying is NON-Refundable but may be transferred to another puppy in another litter or for a future puppy at my full discretion I always try hard to match preferred preferences for individual families.
Your MES puppy can go to its new home between (8-10) weeks of age each puppy is different some require longer stays with me then others. Puppies can not be held for extended times it's critical for there social development that the litter departs MES at a reasonable time frame.
All puppies will come fully vet checked by our licensed veterinarian documentation will be provided to each puppy family in there puppy folder puppies will also be dewormed & have there first set of age appropriate vaccines before leaving us & the shire.
Middle Earth Shilohs does have a detailed contract and it must be signed and notarized before you come to pick up your puppy. I will not place a puppy with any family without a signed/notarized contract in hand no matter how far a family has driven to pick up there MES puppy.
Middle Earth Shilohs will NOT place a puppy with anyone who
~ Is under 18 years of age I will however consider placement with a parent of a person who is under 18 and wants to apply.
~ Does not have a good understanding of the proper needs of Shilohs and the responsibilities required for good pet ownership.
~ Does not have the proper means to provide appropriate food, medical care, time, love and attention to an MES Puppy.
~ I will not place with you if you want to start a breeding progam unless you have a mentor establised within the shiloh shepherd community puppies will only be placed as breeders to other experienced responsible breeders with excellent morals, ethics and good/clean breeding practices.
