Owl Creek Market Vendor Application

Basic Terms and Conditions

Security deposit is $75 per vendor.

The security deposit is due when the contract agreement is signed. Payment instructions will be included on your contract should you be chosen as a vendor.

The first month's rent is due on the first day of your contract term. Contracts are done by calendar month.

At the end of the lease term, should the account be in good standing with monthly check-ins, on time payments and good communication (among other specifications), the security deposit will be returned to the vendor.

A commission fee will be charged on your sales and will be deducted to offset
card processing fees, utilities and related costs. Not all contract lengths are available at all times.

Vendors are required to have a WV Business License with the Meadowbrook Mall address listed as the location. (use Form BUS-APP with the State Tax Deparment)

Vendors are required to have a business license with the City of Bridgeport.

Vendors are required to fill out a W9 tax form prior to move-in.

Vendors will be paid out once per calendar month with rent and commission
automatically deducted.

The vendor is responsible for his/her own merchandise insurance coverage at
Owl Creek Market. Should you waive insurance coverage, Owl Creek Market is
not responsible for loss or damage of merchandise, displays or equipment.
This includes damage/loss from theft, fire, water damage and all natural and
unnatural causes. A liability waiver will be available to sign for those without insurance. Food vendors are required to carry liability insurance for the duration of their contract with Owl Creek Market.

Vendors are to provide their own displays. The display must fit in
their assigned section and may utilize all 4 sides if applicable. Products must be kept within the boundaries of the display/space. Displays must be pre-approved. No additional floor space is permitted outside of the assigned section.

No folding tables, plastic tables, metal gridwalls or refridgerators will be accepted at this time.

Vendors are required to check their displays/products in person once per month.
Vendors are to check in with the owner/manager to sign in and date each
month.

Contracts will begin October 1st, 2026 at our new Meadowbrook Mall location.

I understand that excellent communication is a requirement.

I understand that this is an application to be considered as a vendor and not an
official contract with Owl Creek Market

I understand that vendors will be chosen based on the product category, product
photos sent, and selected contract length.

I understand that, should I be chosen as a vendor, the security deposit of $75 is due on the day the contract is signed.

I understand that, should I be chosen as a vendor, the first month's rent is due on the first day of my contract term.

I understand that the rent secures my space inside Owl Creek Market while
commission covers additional operating costs of the store.

I understand that my preferred space is not guaranteed. Wall space is limited and
will be assigned based on the product category, communication, and the timeliness of the returned application.

I certify that the products described, and images sent, are of my own handmade
products

I understand that I must email product photos to OwlCreekMarket@yahoo.com to be considered

I agree to provide my own display as applicable and understand it must be approved by the owner of Owl Creek Market at least one week prior to my move-in date.

I agree not to alter this application without prior written approval

I understand that this application is confidential, and no information is to be shared.

I understand that Owl Creek Market is made up of local artisans and there may be
other vendors with the same or similar products.

I understand that Owl Creek Market does not guarantee sales.

I understand that I will be responsible for bringing in new and updated products
monthly and that this can be done via proxy.

Product photos are needed for your application to be considered. Must show original work - no AI photos accepted
