2026 Night to Shine Volunteer Registration Form Logo
  • 2026 Night to Shine Volunteer Registration

Rising Sun Church of Christ, Pleasant Hill, Iowa
  • This year our theme will be Winter Wonderland.  Join us again to celebrate with all of our special guests!

This form is to be used if you wish to volunteer for Night to Shine at Rising Sun Church of Christ at 6390 NE Rising Sun Drive, Pleasant Hill, IA on Friday, February 13, 2026.  Guest buddies should plan to be here at 5:00 pm and all others should be here at 4:30 unless you are told a different time by your team leader.  We will communicate exact times for your team at a later date.

Note - For most volunteer positions the minimum age to volunteer is age 14 or freshman in high school.  There are a handful of spots where junior high kids will have an opportunity to serve.

In some cases, a team leader has already reached out and asked if you would consider being on their team, if you agreed, we still need you to register on this form.  Please select the team you agreed to be on as your first choice but there is no need to select a 2nd or 3rd option.  If you don't remember the team, please utilize the Note section to let us know who you spoke to and we can follow up.

If you do not receive a reply email after registering, then something went wrong and you should attempt to register again.  If you still don't receive an email reply, please email risingsunntsassistant@gmail.com and let us know so we can resolve the issue.  Note - if you are a student, please use a personal email address rather than a school email.  School email accounts have a tendency to mark uknown email senders as spam.

All volunteers should submit their background check form again this year.  We will determine on our end whether or not we actually need to run it based on the last time it was ran.  So please fill that out as soon as possible and get that to us so we can get it completed well before the event.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at risingsunchurchnts@gmail.com and someone will get back to you promptly.

Thank you!  We can't wait to see everyone's smiling faces in February 2026!

  • Background Check

  • In order for all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable experience, all volunteers over the age of 18 are required by The Tim Tebow Foundation to have a background check done every 3 years.  This will be completed at no cost to you.  You have done this if you have volunteered for this event in the past but please fill this out anyway and we will determine on our end whether or not we need to run it again.  Please fill out the fields below and sign the release for the background check and that part of the form will be used by our church office so the background check can be performed.

If you are a minor now but will be 18 by 2/13/2026 then a background check will still need to be completed.
