A Generac Automatic Standby generator keeps the power flowing to the critical systems in your home. Generators require routine maintenance, similar to an oil change on your car. Our scheduled maintenance plan will help keep your generator in peak condition for a longer service life, while providing you the peace of mind that when the power goes out your backup power generator will be ready.

$390.00 plus GST

The comprehensive annual inspection & maintenance that you'll receive includes the following:

Inspect spark plugs (Replace if needed)
Inspect plug wires
replace air filter
Change Oil, 5W-30 synthetic, oil filter
Check auto transfer operation
Simulate a utility power outage (with customer approval)
Check output voltage & frequency
Check the muffler system for any cracks or leaks
inspect the condition of the flexible fuel line
remove battery corrosion, clean, tighten connections
Check for leaks, noises, vibrations
Clean & wipe down inside & outside of the enclosure.

Compass Electric Service Area

If your location is outside of our service area, additional charges for travel may apply.

Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Saturna and Mayne Island

Visits to Gulf Islands have an additional charge to cover travel expenses. To
maximize efficiency and minimize costs, we aim to schedule multiple appointments on the same day whenever possible. This allows us to share the travel charge among customers, making our services more affordable. If your request is not urgent, we encourage you to coordinate with us so we can arrange a convenient schedule that benefits everyone involved. If you would like to hire us to only attend only your property, you are solely responsible for the travel fee of $380 plus GST on top of your maintenance charge.

Terms

Compass Electric agrees to provide the maintenance services described for the period commencing on the date of this agreement. This Agreement will renew automatically for additional terms of one year unless terminated at the end of the current term. This Agreement covers only the routine maintenance services specified. All required parts and additional labour not covered by the Manufacturer's warranty will be supplied at additional cost. All work will comply with the manufacturer's guidelines and be performed in a professional manner and Compass Electric agrees to correct any non-conforming services provided hereunder promptly. Compass Electric disclaims all other warranties, express or implied. Customer agrees that in no event shall Compass Electric be liable for indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or incidental damages of any kind arising out of this Agreement.
