Standard Rates

Monday to Friday: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Initial Call Out Fee: $249.99 (Includes GST)

Rates after the first hour: $105 per hour +GST

There is a $249.99 call-out fee for the inspection of your Generac generator, which must be paid prior to scheduling your appointment. This fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee that your generator will be repaired. Please note that we may not have the necessary parts available on-site to complete the repair, and additional charges may apply if parts need to be ordered. The call-out fee covers the technician's time and travel costs associated with the inspection but does not include the cost of any repairs or parts.

If your location is outside of our service area, additional charges for travel may apply.

Salt Spring, Pender, Galiano, Saturna and Mayne Island

Visits to Gulf Islands have an additional charge to cover travel expenses. To
maximize efficiency and minimize costs, we aim to schedule multiple appointments on the same day whenever possible. This allows us to share the travel charge among customers, making our services more affordable. If your request is not urgent, we encourage you to coordinate with us so we can arrange a convenient schedule that benefits everyone involved. If you would like to hire us to only attend only your property, you are solely responsible for the travel fee of $380 plus GST on top of your maintenance charge.

Disclaimer

The generator owners are responsible for reading and understanding their Generac Warranty documents to determine what is and is not covered under the Warranty. You agree to pay Compass Electric Ltd. directly for any labour and materials not covered by your Generac Warranty.

You understand that Compass Electric Ltd. will supply your warranty claim to Generac once the work is complete and invoice for any balance if one exists.

This agreement will not be considered valid or binding until such a time as a signed and dated copy has been returned to Compass Electric Ltd.

All quotes are valid for a period of no more than 30 days.

No work will commence until written approval to proceed has been received by Compass Electric Ltd. This approval must be in the form of an email or signed quote approval.

All agreements, inclusive of credit terms, are subject to renewal upon 30 days' notice by Compass Electric.

Compass Electric Ltd. reserves the right to adjust rates at its discretion and in accordance or alignment with any applicable government requirement.

All workmanship and material provided by Compass Electric Ltd. is under warranty for a period of (1) one year. This excludes all material supplied by the customer or any third party.

The customer agrees that the billing information is accurate at the time of receiving the quote. Any changes required post-agreement may be subject to an administrative fee.

Terms:

Payments are due upon receipt of the invoice.

Interest fee charges will be assessed at a rate of 26.8% per diem (to the maximum government allowance) on all outstanding balances.

Standard Exclusions:

GST, BC Hydro fees, gas fitting, any work associated with supply, installation or encasement of concrete, garbage removal, drywall or paint repairs.
