Upload a .pdf (1000 words or less) or a 2 to 3 minutes video response to the next question.
Question:
Think about a social cause you care about. What is one thing you would do/or are currently doing to address this issue? Social causes may include: a community challenge, matters addressing groups of people or community experiences, etc.
Be creative: You can submit a video or write with different styles. Example: Writing: submitting a blog, media article, a short story, poem, etc. Be thoughtful: Consider the video quality, sound, etc.

All content submitted must be original and include a reference for any quoted material. Please use your own voice and materials.
Helpful Suggestions & Tips:
- Shoot a test video.
- Make sure your angles are what you want them to be and make sure that there is not anything inappropriate within view of the camera.
- Verify that the background for the video is suitable.
- Make sure you are in a location with good lighting.
- Make a plan before you shoot the video. Possibly create a script for your video.
- Check your sound quality and make sure you are speaking clearly.
- Test the timing to make sure you are within the required time limits. Do a timed table read before shooting the video.
- Proofread the video before posting it. Watch the video in full after it is done to make sure there are not any glitches, awkward moments or other problems.
Video Submission Criteria and Guidelines:
Video entries must not be derogatory, offensive, threatening, defamatory, disparaging and libelous or contain any content that is inappropriate, indecent, sexual, profane, impolite, slanderous or discriminatory in any way.
Video must be submitted in one of the following formats: avi, mov, mpg, or wmv.
The video and essay must be an original, unpublished work. Any elements in your submission, including but not limited to, music, audio, speech/voiceovers, stills, video, supers, or other audiovisual materials used must be:
1) Entirely original, created and performed by you; or
2) Be in the public domain.
Video must be an original, unpublished work that does not contain, incorporate or otherwise use any content, music, material or element that is owned by a third party or entity.
Failing to provide proper documentation of permission to use such materials will result in the entry being disqualified.
