Soul Shop’s mission is to equip faith community leaders and congregations with the tools and knowledge to effectively minister to individuals and families impacted by suicide, offering compassionate support, guidance, and hope.
Soul Shop is a faith-based suicide prevention training program for churches, faith leaders, and faith communities. It equips participants with the tools and knowledge to address suicide prevention, provide support for those struggling, and create a culture that fosters hope and healing.
The training covers topics like:
- Recognizing warning signs of suicide
- How to have conversations about suicide within faith communities
- Supporting those who have been affected by suicide
- Integrating suicide prevention into ministry and pastoral care
