    The Legacy Event Sponsorship program aims to ensure that Haywood County's valued events continue to thrive, captivate audiences, and generate lasting economic and cultural impact. Please review the grant guidelines prior to completing your application.

  • All applicants must provide a detailed budget that includes all revenues and expenses. Please download the budget form listed on our website and submit as an attachment. The requested sponsorship amount must be no more than 25% of the total event budget.

  • Marketing Plan

  • A marketing plan is a strategic guide that helps map out advertising and promotional strategies to connect with the intended audience and attract visitors to Haywood County. The applicant must fill out the marketing plan template, available on the HCTDA website, in its entirety.

    Indemnity: Grantee agrees, to the fullest extent permitted by law, to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HCTDA, its officers, directors, affiliates, employees, volunteers, and agents, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) directly, indirectly, wholly or partially arising from or in connection with any act or omission of Grantee, its employees or agents, in applying for or accepting the grant, in expending or applying Grant funds or in carrying out the festival/event as set forth in the proposal.
