• HOT WORK PERMIT

  • Before starting hot work, review all safety precautions. Can this work be avoided or done in a safer way? If not, ensure fire precautions are in place! Fire sprinklers must be in service and extinguishers available.

    This Hot Work Permit is required for any operation involving open flames or producing heat and/or sparks. This includes, but is not limited to, brazing, cutting, grinding, soldering, welding, or using torch to thaw piping or heat material. The permit applies to only this job, in the area specified, during the date and time noted. Note: The required precautions are not optional. They are required for fire-safe hot work.
