Undergraduate Houghton Library & Printing Studio Session for Trans Bibliography: A Symposium
The session for Harvard undergraduates will take place from 2-5pm at Houghton Library and Printing Studio on Wednesday March 12. From 2-3:30pm, students will have the opportunity to handle a range of special collections materials guided by Houghton librarians and scholars working on the history of trans* books & printing. From 3:30-5pm, the group will head to the printing studio to try their hand at printing. The session will be guided by Colton Valentine (Harvard College '16 and Harvard Society of Fellows), Carlisle Yingst (Harvard PhD '23), Kadin Henningsen (UIUC and Skeudomorph Press), and Molly Schwartzburg (Hofer Curator of Printing & Graphic Arts, Houghton). (If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Carlisle Yingst (ceyingst@g.harvard.edu)!
Please Note
Space in the printing studio is very limited - if you sign up for the full session, please be sure that you can commit to attend for the whole time (2-5pm). After signing up, we will contact you shortly thereafter to confirm your spot in the workshop.
